How We Work — A Foundation Repair Process Without the Surprises.

Five steps, no high-pressure sales, no scope changes mid-job. Here's exactly what happens from the first call to one year after the work.

Why we publish our process.

Most foundation contractors won't tell you what happens after you call. Some won't even tell you what an inspection looks like. There's a reason for that — the less you know going in, the easier the upsell.

We do the opposite. We've published the whole thing. Every step, every commitment, what we do, what we don't do, and what you can expect at each point. If something below isn't clear, call and ask. We answer the phone.

Step 1 — You call. Stacy answers, or calls you back the same day.

The number on this site rings to Stacy's phone. There's no answering service, no dispatcher, no "please leave a message and a representative will respond within 48 hours." If he can't pick up — he's on a job, in a basement, driving — he'll call you back the same day on weekdays. Weekends, usually within 24 hours.

When you call, we'll talk for a few minutes about what you're seeing. That conversation alone often tells us whether you need to be worried or not. If we can save you an inspection over the phone, we will.

Step 2 — Free inspection in person, usually within the week.

If you do need a look, we book an inspection. In your house, in your basement, looking at your actual foundation — not a Zoom call, not a "preliminary phone consultation."

Inspections take 30-60 minutes depending on the situation. Stacy comes himself. He'll look at the foundation, the basement, the grading outside, the downspouts, and anything else that might be telling him where the actual problem is.

Inspections are free. Always. No "free quote, $200 inspection fee" trick. Free means free.

Step 3 — Plain-language assessment. Sometimes that means "you don't need this."

After the inspection, we sit down and walk through what we saw. Plain language, no scare tactics, no jargon designed to make you feel like you can't push back.

If your problem is real, we'll tell you what it is, what's causing it, and what the right fix looks like. If your problem is something else — drainage, a downspout, condensation, settling that stopped twenty years ago — we'll tell you that too. And if there's no problem at all, we'll tell you that, and we won't bill you for the look.

A meaningful percentage of our inspections end with "you don't need work." We're proud of that number. It's the whole reason this business is built the way it is.

Step 4 — Fixed quote in writing. No scope creep.

If work is needed and you want us to do it, you get a fixed quote in writing. Not "starting at." Not "approximately." A specific number for a specific scope of work.

The number includes everything we know we'll need. If something genuinely unforeseen comes up mid-job — and that does happen on older houses — we stop, show you what we found, and you decide whether to add it to the scope. No surprise line items on the final invoice.

Step 5 — The work. The same crew, every day.

When the work starts, the crew that shows up is the crew that finishes. Same faces, day after day. Stacy is on site every day the work is happening — not popping in for an hour, on site.

Most jobs run between one day (a single crack repair) and two weeks (a full underpinning). We'll give you a realistic timeline up front and we'll update you if anything changes.

Your house is treated like our house. Drop sheets where they need to be, clean-up at the end of every day, no unnecessary mess.

Step 6 — Check-back at one year.

A year after we finish, we call you. We ask how things are holding up, whether anything has shifted, whether you have questions. If something needs adjusting under our warranty, we come back and adjust it.

That call isn't a sales call. We're not trying to sell you the next thing. We just want to know our work is doing what it's supposed to.

What we don't do.

  • No high-pressure sales calls. An inspection is a look at your foundation, not a sales pitch.
  • No "today only" pricing. Foundation work is a real decision; we treat it that way.
  • No scope creep. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice.
  • No subcontracting the actual work. Our crew is our crew.
  • No vanishing after the cheque clears. That's why we call you a year later.
